Welcome to Congregation Gates of Heaven! We are the only Reform synagogue in the greater Schenectady, New York area. We have a long tradition of family worship and service to the community.

Since our founding in 1854, we have increased in size to 500 families, but we remain a closely-knit congregational family, united in worship, education, social activity, and the performance of mitzvot.

The lifeblood of the congregation is its members, and we know you will find our congregants to be friendly, caring, and involved. There are many opportunities for each member to worship, study, participate, and contribute to the continued growth of our vibrant congregation.
