Each fall, on a Sunday afternoon, hundreds of Temple members, of all ages, share a kick-off lunch donated by Price Chopper and then spend the afternoon working in community agencies across the capital region. Agencies include food pantries, nursing homes, hospitals, services to the elderly, the temple's cemetery, parks, programs for at-risk children, day care centers, the city library, the temple library, museums, and homeless shelters.
