Dear Sisterhood Friends,

We are celebrating the 127th year of our existence as a Sisterhood. Started in 1897, as the Ladies Auxiliary of Shaarai Shemayim, Gates of Heaven, we are proud to be a vital arm of our congregation.

Over the years, the women of Congregation Gates of Heaven have formed strong bonds of friendship and made a commitment to making our synagogue a vibrant place, providing service and education to our members and others.

Sisterhood is open to all members of our congregation. We are dedicated to a variety of religious, educational, social, and philanthropic efforts.

Our evening book group continues to attract many of our congregants and we hope to add many more programs as the year progresses.

We invite you to become part of this special Sisterhood community by becoming a member for the 2024-2025 year. Your dues and donor contributions have made it possible for us to continue many worthwhile projects and programs.
