Mitzvah in Action
A Monthly Spotlight
Join us on a meaningful journey where each month, we focus on a different organization or cause that makes a difference in the world. In "Mitzvah in Action," we bring Jewish values to life by shining a spotlight on one institution at a time. Through hands-on volunteering, fundraising efforts, and community outreach, students will have the opportunity to engage with important social, environmental, and humanitarian issues.
Each month, we will explore the mission of a selected organization, learn about the impact they have, and actively contribute to their work. Whether we are rolling up our sleeves to volunteer or organizing creative fundraising events, this program is all about putting our values into action and making a difference together.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of Tzedakah (charitable giving), Gemilut Khasadim (acts of kindness), and the power of community, all while building friendships and growing as leaders.
We are always looking for organizations or causes to add to Mitzvah in Action. Call the office with your suggestions, or email Tammy at tammy@cgoh.org or Arnie at arotenberg@cgoh.org.
